Melodies of thought - Voice and soundscapes
I sing, I compose, I write, I play guitar and keyboard.
My guitar is a classical electro acoustic guitar, I play in fingerstyle and sometimes use effects. When I'm on the keyboard, I use virtual synths to create background soundscapes. I also use them to play instruments like the piano, violins or harp.
My voice is my main instrument. I heard a lot of nice things about it, and I would say that "smooth, melodious, ethereal, and expressive" describe it well.
I produce my music in my home studio. I'm self-taught, and I'm always looking to improve. I record in multitrack, using a creative, sensitive, yet structured approach. I really like ethereal sounds, percussive elements, extended chords and cinematic harmonies.
I‘m influenced by many different types of music. I don't really have favorite artists. I'm more often fan of a song, an expression, or how the musical work moves me. Many of them come from movies.
I've always worked in the music world, in various roles. There is nothing particularly useful to mention here, but the experience I gained is valuable. I started my own way as an independent artist in 2020 with this in hand. It's a very small way in a huge world, but it's my way.
I really need to create. I also need what I create to be meaningful. My lyrics are influenced by my thoughts, emotions and personal journey, but they also touch on timeless themes. I use poetic words and metaphors inspired by the movements of nature and being. I have the same mindset when it comes to creating my visuals, and writing poems and stories.
I really do love life. I like to learn and grow. I’m always drawn to what is beautiful, luminous, and deeply uplifting. I believe all of this is reflected in everything I do.
