I love to see my book available in bookshops all over the world. My words travel beyond the range of my voice to touch the hearts of those who are far from me, yet so close in thought.
I've been a passionate writer since childhood. I wrote a lot of different things like stories, poems, and songs, with varying degrees of success and varying degrees of willingness to share them. Some of my poems have been included in anthologies, some have been published using my old pen name, and some have been turned into songs. I wanted there to be a collection of my poetry published under my name in 2025, as a fully realized work.
But I didn't want to go digging up the old writings I'd left lying around. With a few exceptions that have always been close to my heart, the collection features new lines.
Whatever inspired me, everything I wrote for this book was to express my love of life. I wanted to explore different perspectives, so I alternated between tenses and points of view, prose and rhyme, and composed my poems in a variety of forms.
Putting this collection together was also a way for me to let my poetic side out in French, with a free musicality. At the same time, I was working on my second English-language music album. These poems were about things that I didn't want to put into my music, but rather to put my feelings into words that were meant to be written down and read.
I published Lignes poétiques as a self-published book, printed on demand. You can order it in bookshops or directly from the website The Book Edition
There will probably be another book in 2026, but it’s still just a spark in my dreams.
